Positions & Qualifications

Seasonal School-Age Worker (June - August)

must be at least 19 years of age.
must have a high school diploma OR equivalency certificate (GED).
One (1) year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience AND Thirty (30) semester hours or 45 quarter hours of credits from an accredited college or university with six (6) semester or nine (9) quarter hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or child development, OR Completion of approved credentialing program.

Substitute/On-Call Early Childhood Teacher Assistant

must have a high school diploma OR equivalency certificate (GED)
One (1) year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience.

Substitute/On-Call Early Childhood Teacher

Sixty (60) semester hours or 90 quarter hours of credits from an accredited college or university with six (6) semester or nine (9) quarter hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or child development, OR Completion of approved credentialing program.

she reluctantly complies and places the child in the chair. she immediately addresses the young boy and correct his behavior. she tells Reba "No" and leaves classroom to go get Center's Director.

Four children at the sensory table are arguing over the two squirt bottles and one multicolor water wheel. What would you do? What would you say? *

Tell all the children to clean up and put everything away. Add more squirt bottles and water wheels to the sensory table. Remove two children from the sensory table and gently direct them to another area to explore.
